December 19th - 23rd

Only one week of school left before the Christmas break. With the cold weather that we have been experiencing, the last few weeks have been quite long for the students. They have managed the indoor recesses very well but I think they are looking forward to getting outside.

Thank you so much to the Glubish, Arcand, and Larson Families for prepping and flooding the skating rink.  The rink should be ready to use next week in time for the nice weather.

Students must have a CSA helmet and gloves or mittens to be allowed on the ice.  Snow pants are also recommended.
In order to skate at lunch hour, students must be able to tie their own skates or find a buddy to help them tie their skates.

Skiing ~

The Gr. 3 - 6 students will have their first skiing day on Tuesday, December 20th.  This is an excellent opportunity for the students to learn a new sport that they may enjoy for many years to come.

Christmas Sweater Day ~

Remember to dawn your Christmas apparel on Thursday, December 22nd.  If you don't have a Christmas sweater, dress in red and green or decorate a shirt or sweater with Christmas decorations.

P.J's and Potluck ~

On Friday, December 23rd we will be kicking off the Christmas vacation by wearing our P.J's to school, having a school potluck lunch and playing our annual Bingo game. Thanks to all the families for sending in food for the Potluck Lunch!
